Rodmatic’s CNC department has been relaunched as Rodmatic Hytek. The next phase in the department’s evolution is being led by Manager, Mike Turner. Rodmatic Hytek will benefit from focused investment and development and respond to new opportunities by diversifying into areas such as automotive, jewellery and aerospace. Mike Turner explains:
“The re-launch of the department as Rodmatic Hytek sees the department benefit from investment in new technology in the latest CNC sliding heads and other key equipment.
What we offer here at Rodmatic Hytek is the power to provide companies with the quickest possible reaction time. That’s because our machines are working 24 hours a day. I see Hytek developing into a standalone department and growing as a commercial force to be reckoned with. Watch this space!”
While the role is a new one for Mike, his standing within Rodmatic is anything but, as he previously worked for the company for 31 years. He brings with him the extensive knowledge of Rodmatic and its client-base gained as he worked his way up the company. His brief time away from Rodmatic before taking on the post of Department Manager served as a valuable opportunity for him to gain additional expertise in cutting tool sales. He adds:
“There have been many changes in Rodmatic in the time I’ve known it, but the CNC machines have been the biggest step forward in technology. After so long within the business it’s fantastic to be helping to support the next stage in its development.”
Brian Steatham, the Managing Director of Rodmatic, commented:
“We are very excited about the launch of Rodmatic Hytek and delighted to welcome Mike back to help lead the department to even greater success in the future.”
